Why Cook?
It is our belief that MOST is just not good for dogs. There are a few exceptions that are better. There are several options that aren't kibble that seem to be healthy and balanced. We will talk more about those in time. We love the ability to know for sure every ingredient and ratio was done by us and it provides a 100% guarantee you just know! Our dog has improved so much along the way. This adventure not only creates a healthier happier dog, but a stronger bond between you and your dog.
My Journey
I started my journey with our diabetic lab in 2015. She ate a high end kibble, but I started to read about toppers. I would cook crockpots with healthy food and replace a portion of her dog food with the topper. I made the unfortunate decision to put her down peacefully after she basically had so many complications that she was unhappy and lifeless. In came my tornado - a golden retriever named Harley (see picture above). He is a wonderful dog with a terrible stomach. We literally tried every kibble known to man and if he did eat the results were gut wrenching (and a little disgusting). Then there were times he wouldn't eat at all. I started doing a lot of reading and interactive discussion in various places. We made journals of the proper way to start this and everything that we into it. We took online educational options. It brought us here today - the point of wanting to share the knowledge and make it easier for other people. Follow along on our BLOG, Socials, and YouTube for our journey and advice.
See you on the adventure!!!
